Initial Consultation – $125  

A chance for me to get to know you and discover how we can best work together to support you on your journey towards better health. We will discuss your intake forms, evaluate your nutritional status and begin designing a wellness program tailored to your specific needs and goals.  Before coming to the intake appointment, you must fill out the Initial intake form (a 3-day diet journal is included). Initial appointments are approximately 75  minutes in length. 


Follow-up Session – $75

Maintenance sessions are designed to adapt the program to meet your dynamic needs. Checking in and reevaluating previous goals is an important step to recognizing achievements and being aware of aspects that need more attention. As the healing process progresses, changes are necessary to propel your transformation forward. Follow-up sessions are approximately 45 minutes.  


Consultations can be conducted In Person, By Phone, or by Skype. If the appointment is being conducted by phone or Skype, I will contact you as the scheduled time. We ask that you return the intake form at least a week prior to your appointment time.

Please be aware that while email consultations can help and have emerged as a new trend in healthcare, they should not be substituted for in person sessions. An initial evaluation in person or by phone is recommended. However, for those that don’t need quite as much support and are looking for general guidance, email consultations can be very cost effective.

 Get Started Personal Attention Program


Personalized nutrition program and intensive nutrition education and coaching concentrated over four weeks.

This program is best for people who start new projects fast and like to make a concentrated effort, get a lot of personal attention and learn as much information and practical skills as possible at the beginning of a program.

This Program includes:

  • Week 1:
    • Counselor’s review/preparation time before the Initial Consultation
    • Initial One-Hour Consultation
    • Up to two email follow-ups for questions and answers for the week after the Initial Consultation
  • Weeks 2 and 3:
    • A 45-minute follow-up support session in person or over the phone each week for two additional consecutive weeks
    • Up to two email follow-ups for questions and answers each week after the follow-up sessions
  • Week 4:
    • A Final One-Hour Follow-Up Consultation that will cover health goals met, plan of action for the future, and details of transitioning to a maintenance diet
    • Up to two more email follow-ups the week of the Final Follow-Up Consultation if needed for additional support
 Rebuilding a New You Nutrition Coaching Program


Personalized nutrition program and the slow and steady approach to coaching over an 11-week period.

A program for people who need time to work on a chronic illness or weight loss, to revise the diet based on repeat medical test results, or to absorb new information and make changes more slowly over a three-month period. Good for people who want regular nutritional support for working on weight loss, Metabolic Syndrome X (or several heart disease risk factors), prediabetes or early-stage diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), an autoimmune disease, or gluten intolerance involving several symptoms.

This Program includes:

  • Week 1:
    • Counselor’s review/preparation time before the Initial Consultation
    • Initial One-Hour Consultation
  • Week 3:
    • Hour-long Follow-Up Consultation in person or over the phone two weeks after the Initial Consultation to fine-tune the diet and address concerns or questions.
  • Week 5:
    • Email Check-In two weeks after First Follow-up Consultation
  • Week 7:
    • Second Follow-Up Consultation in person or over the phone one month after First Follow-Up.
  • Week 9:
    • Email Check-In two weeks after Second Follow-Up
  • Week 11:
    • Final Follow-Up Consultation in person or over the phone one month after Second Follow-Up. Session will include a review of health goals met, plan of action for the future and details about transitioning to a maintenance diet.
Diet and Lifestyle Makeover Program


he most complete package of in-depth consulting, education and one-on-one coaching sessions to get you on the right diet for you and to give you the practical skills you need to maintain your diet over the long term in the real world.

This Package includes:

  • Counselor’s review/preparation time before the Initial Consultation
  • The Initial One-Hour Consultation
  • Three Support Sessions chosen by the client to learn new skills for putting diet strategies into practice in real life (scheduled consecutively within two weeks of each other):
    • Individualized Meal Ideas and Meal Planning. Go over meal ideas personalized for your dietary needs in an hour-long session.
    • Individualized Supermarket Tour: Go over how to read labels and ingredient lists and find the healthiest choices in grocery stores in an hour-and-15-minute session. Either
      1. Meet Melissa at a Tucson supermarket or natural foods grocery store of your choice for a tour that is personalized to you and your health needs, teaches you in a hands-on way and answers your questions. OR
      2. For long-distance clients over the phone, discuss the supermarkets and grocery stores in your area in depth and what products to look for in each store. Also, develop individualized shopping lists for your needs and ask whatever questions about food products that you have.
    • Individualized Eating Out in Restaurants: Go over how to look for the healthiest choices on restaurant menus and how to order for your health needs in restaurants. Discuss restaurant options near your work or home, go over copies of menus from your favorite restaurants (bring or mail in copies of restaurant menus to Melissa), and discuss the healthiest choices and best ways to ask questions and order appropriately for your health needs.
    • Individualized Healthy Travel Strategies: For people who travel often in their job or on vacations. Use a support session to get personalized advice on the best foods to travel with and carry with you and guidelines on how to get healthy meals when traveling by car, train or plane and in hotels and out-of-town restaurants.
  • Up to three email questions and answers each week after the three Support Sessions
  • One-Hour Final Follow-Up Consultation one month after completing the Third Support Session to review and reinforce shopping, meal planning, ordering and eating for your health over the long term

7 Session Plan – $

This is a therapeutic lifestyle program for those who need to slowly transition to a nourishing lifestyle by making life-long changes to improve health. For the individual with chronic health conditions such as autoimmune conditions, blood sugar imbalances, heart disease, or chronic digestive distress.  

    • 1 hour initial consultation
    • Six thirty-minute follow-up appointments (scheduled 2-4 weeks apart)

5 Session Plan – $

This program will help you cleanse your body, balance blood sugars, work to achieve your goal weight, improve your energy, and overall health by integrating healthy dietary and lifestyle choices with an approach that you can sustain after the program ends.  For the individual who is looking to restore health and rebuild weaknesses in the body in order to prevent future illness.

Programs are personalized to the needs and goals of the client.  Program details and pricing are subject to change.  Nutritional supplements are recommended based on the client’s individual needs.  Packages expire after 6 months. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy and studio cancellation/no shew policy applies.
