Studio Etiquette

At Vibrant Living Wellness Center, we have set out to bring you a serene environment where the highest levels of care are provided to nurture the well-being of mind, body and spirit. By infusing Western and Eastern healing modalities, Vibrant Living Wellness Center is able to tailor each treatment to a person’s individual needs..

It is our goal to make a difference in the lives we touch by offering the highest level of service  in the most relaxing environment for our clients. With that in mind, we have put the following etiquette in place and ask that everyone be mindful and respectful of others.

Booking Appointments:

In order to ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. Appointments can be booked at the studio, by phone, or online. To accommodate your desired appointment a credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Gift Certificates may also be used in lieu of a credit card to hold your appointment. We hold this information as part of our cancellation policies and only make necessary charges to your account on the date of your scheduled service. Details of our cancellation policy are provided below.

*Please notify us of any allergies or sensitivities to aromas or ingredients when you schedule your appointment.  
Although we offer planned packages for your convenience, you are welcome to combine any of our services for a custom package that meets your needs. 

Check in/Punctuality:

We ask that you please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your first appointment time or studio class. The initial client intake forms take a few minutes to fill out and we would like you to begin on time. These forma are also available online in our client forms section. Follow up appointments need only arrive a few minutes early to take care of any last-minute needs before your appointment starts (i.e turning your phone on silent, bathroom, etc). We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of service may be adjusted so as to not interrupt the scheduled appointments of other guests. Full price of scheduled services will apply, so please plan accordingly. Of course, beyond the check in policies we invite all our guest receiving services to make full use of our relaxing environment here at Vibrant Living Wellness Center. Come early, stay late, bring a book, relax and enjoy a cup of complimentary tea, coffee, or cocoa. Couples and spa parties are more than welcome to bring wine and we will provide the glasses.

If you are visiting the studio for one of our Yoga/Meditation/Fitness Classes, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to take care of any paperwork or payments and to get settled in.


Please check in so that we know you are here. However, if no one is available at the front desk, please have a seat and someone will be with you as soon as possible. Please lower your voice when entering the studio area. This ensures comfort for all who are enjoying treatments at Vibrant Living Wellness Center.

Cancellation Policies and Fees:
Your treatment sessions are reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the studio’s scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service. We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. .

When you schedule your appointment with us, you are agreeing to these policies. All services require a credit card, gift certificate or prepayment/retainer to guarantee a reservation so please have your credit card and/or gift certificate ready when booking. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment.

Group Bookings:
For spa parties or bookings involving three or more clients, a completed contract and deposit are required to secure your appointment and arranged pricing. A 20% gratuity will be added to all spa parties. Exclusive use of the Studio is available; please inquire for fees and available dates.

Cell Phones:
We do our best to offer a relaxing and calm environment. We kindly ask that you turn your cell phones and pagers to vibrate upon arrival and to remember to speak in a soft voice once you enter the studio area. If you need to make or take a call, please return to the front lobby area by the entrance or step outside. Cell phone use may affect the length of your spa services.


Children are not allowed to roam the studio. We do not have an associate watching the waiting area, so for their own safety, children must remain at their parent’s side AT ALL times. No loud noises, screaming, or inappropriate behavior will be tolerated as this is disruptive to other clients.  This ensures a relaxing studio atmosphere.


While in the studio, please be aware that others are receiving treatments and keep all conversations at a low volume.

Prices and Services:
Prices and services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment.


Membership agreements are subject to a 4-month auto-pay agreement. Please visit our website and click on the Membership Page to see exact terms and membership options.
Gift Certificate Policy:
Gift Certificates are available for specified services and may be purchased at the studio or online. Out of town? Too busy? No problem. Gift |Certificates can be printed out online or we can mail your gift certificate to you or to the person the gift certificate was purchased for directly. Unfortunately, we are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transactions on gift certificates even if lost, misplaced or stolen. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed as cash. Gift Certificates expire 6 months after purchase date. Gift Certificates must be mentioned when making your appointment.

Series of Treatments: 
We are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transaction on any treatment series that are purchased. We will, however, exchange them for other services of equal or lesser value.


Gratuity is not included in the price of service at Vibrant Living or Hairotic Salon. While a tip is not expected, our therapists are pleased with any tip as it shows them your appreciation for their expertise. A typical gratuity ranges between 15-20%, but some give more or less depending on their experience. You may tip the therapist directly or leave it at the front desk. With spa parties or parties of 3 or more, a 20% gratuity will be added to the final bill.

Personal Belongings:
Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home. Vibrant Living Wellness Center is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.

Studio Promotions:
Studio specials cannot be used in combination with any other offer, promotions or third part gift certificates. 



We serve busy professionals stopping in for a quick treatment during the busy work day, as well as those who are coming in to relax for half of the day. Our goal is for you to be comfortable, so please wear whatever you would like. Many services require removal of the clothes, so we recommend that your wear something easy to remove. If modesty is an issue, please remember that our highly trained staff will ensure your complete comfort and will drape all areas of the body that are not being treated.


If possible, it is always best to leave your jewelry at home. You will be asked to remove any jewelry before receiving your treatments. If you do wear your jewelry, just remember to take it with you when you leave.

Communication with the therapists/technicians 

Your treatment is all about you. Please let us know what you like or dislike. For example, amount of light, music volume, and if you prefer to chat or be pampered in silence, is all a matter of client preference. If you want the therapist to spend more time in a certain area, apply a greater or lesser amount of pressure, or leave something completely out of the treatment, please voice your opinion. Questions are welcome. Our trained therapists are very knowledgeable and happy to share information with you. If at any time you feel uncomfortable, please tell your therapist so that he or she may accommodate you.

Medical Conditions 

To ensure your safety and ours, please advise us of any medical issues you may have. Not all treatments are suitable for all clients. Please disclose any concerns before your treatment begins.

Nudity concerns 

You will never be asked to change in front of any of our staff or other clients. All rooms are private and you will be alone while changing. If you are having multiple services that require your clothing to be removed, robes are provided for covering as you move from room to room. The therapist will always knock on the door before entering the room, and if you are not ready they will not enter. During the treatment, only the area being treated will be uncovered. Our staff is highly trained in “draping,” which is the careful practice of covering all parts of the body not being touched. Removing your clothing gives you a much better experience as the therapist is free to work all of the muscles without barrier. Male clients should leave on their boxers or underwear, and female clients should remove their bras but leave on underwear also.


Please do not shave right before an appointment that includes dry brushing or body scrub. Male clients receiving facials should shave at least three hours prior to the appointment.


Please avoid the sun right before a spa treatment and we recommend at least 24 hours after. Certain treatments require that you stay out of the sun for a few days. We always recommend wearing sunscreen with at least 25 SPF. Please discuss this with your therapist.

Food Intake

Most of our spa treatments do not require any special food regimes. We do recommend that you drink plenty of water before and after a massage appointment. If you are receiving an acupuncture treatment, please do not come on an empty stomach. A light snack is recommended an hour or so before treatment.

Return Policy:
It is our mission to provide you with the highest-quality of products. In the event you purchase a product and find it to be defective, we will exchange any product within 14 days of purchase, provided a receipt is presented. Unfortunately, we cannot provide cash refunds for returned products. Instead a credit will be provided for any returned product to be used on any other products or services available here at Vibrant Living Wellness Center.
